WPP CAMPUS

CORPORATE HEADOFFICE

The WPP Campus in Bryanston represents a transformative approach to commercial architecture, where employee well-being and productivity are central to its design. This innovative space redefines the traditional office environment by seamlessly blending nature and work, creating a dynamic setting that fosters collaboration, creativity, and satisfaction.

Nestled within a lush landscape, the campus features open-air workspaces, green courtyards, and walking trails that encourage a connection to the outdoors. Designed with sustainable practices in mind, the building utilises eco-friendly materials and optimally harnesses natural light, fostering an environment where employees can thrive both physically and mentally. This innovative design not only supports productivity but enhances overall well-being, turning the workspace into a place of inspiration.

The architectural plan strategically positions common areas—such as boardrooms, coffee shops, and restaurants—at street level to combat the isolation typically found in Bryanston. Positioned on a hill, the design cantilevers amenities outward, creating inviting spaces that overlook the road while connecting with beautifully landscaped gardens. Internal atria and extensive internal glazing invite natural elements inside, while bridges facilitate a seamless flow of nature through the building.

Within the campus lies a multi-level treehouse, serving as a cultural focal point. This vibrant hub combines co-working spaces, dining areas, and event venues, bringing together employees from various departments. By fostering varied working experiences and encouraging interactions, the treehouse cultivates a dynamic atmosphere that enhances collaboration and creativity throughout the campus.

Above, expansive rooftop gardens respond to the new demands of post-pandemic work environments. Designed as lifestyle spaces, the roof offers a range of areas for relaxation and focus: a sandy terrace for social gatherings, a forest deck for quiet work, and a meadow for outdoor cinema. Employees have access to allotments for growing fruits and vegetables, promoting wellness and community ties.

In summary, the WPP Campus is not merely a workspace; it’s a forward-thinking ecosystem where productivity and well-being are inseparably linked, setting new standards for commercial architecture.
