PEREGRINE AND CITADEL
PEREGRINE AND CITADEL, 1 PARK LANE
CORPORATE OFFICES
This interior fit-out occupies the upper four levels of the 20-storey 1 Park Lane in Sandton, designed by Paragon Architects. The project includes offices for four separate but related financial services providers – Peregrine Capital, Citadel Wealth Management, A2X and Lagae Peresec – each of which has its own distinct character, corporate identity and aesthetic. However, they share certain facilities, including the reception area, meeting rooms, entertainment spaces and a large auditorium overlooking the city. An elegant, wood-panelled reception area establishes a brand-neutral setting. Each meeting room was named after a notable landmark related to the view – for example, Lanseria Airport, Magaliesberg, Tshwane and Vilakazi Street – each with custom photographs or artwork. The southern wing features a client entertainment area and a glazed auditorium that offers panoramic views of Johannesburg, with a striking shell-like acoustic ceiling. Furnishings throughout are pared back and neutral featuring rich, warm natural textures and neutral tones, and tailor made, custom furnishing and fittings throughout. Beyond this communal client-facing areas, each office space reflects its brand’s unique character: Lagae Peresec’s high-tech, black-and-white trading space, Citadel’s energetic terrazzo, and Peregrine’s gentlemen’s club inflected sophistication.
