1 PARK LANE
1 PARK LANE
CORPORATE OFFICES
1 Park Lane is a 20-storey commercial tower located in Sandton’s Wierda Valley precinct. Designed by Paragon Architects with interiors by Paragon Interface, the building integrates a range of financial and corporate service firms within a vertically structured, high-performance workplace
The tower is composed of three distinct vertical elements: a publicly accessible, double-volume ground floor with landscaped forecourt; a nine-level, naturally ventilated parking podium; and eleven levels of premium-grade office space. A full-height glazed atrium forms the spatial core of the building, introducing natural light to internal areas and connecting floorplates via suspended bridges and communal zones.
Tenants include a mix of financial institutions, investment firms, and corporate service providers. The large-span floorplates allow for flexible workspace configurations. Shared conferencing and reception areas at intermediate levels support the building’s multi-tenant model, facilitating collaboration and interaction among tenants.
The main façades are orientated east-west. The unitised façades are made up of double-glazed and aluminium composite (ACP) panels. These panels have been designed to minimise solar heat gain while maximising the building's panoramic views. The façade treatment provides a pattern and rhythm which reinforces the building’s vertical expression and environmental performance.
The building targets a 4-Star Green Star As-Built rating. Key environmental strategies include solar-responsive façades, daylight optimisation, passive ventilation to the parking structure, and integrated energy monitoring
1 Park Lane exemplifies Paragon’s commitment to clarity of form, integrated sustainability, and refined detailing, delivering a cohesive and contemporary addition to the Sandton skyline.
